After earning his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies, Brian Davenport joined the USM LAC faculty in September 2013. A passionate teacher and scholar, Brian takes great joy in exploring all angles of leadership studies with students and peers. His particular research interests revolve around leadership and athletics, servant-leadership, the impact of technology on leadership, and the experience of undocumented immigrants. While originally from the western half of the United States, Brian's love of the seasons and the Red Sox make him a perfect fit for life in New England.
Joshua Cowart has been a successful and respected baseball coach for the past six years. He is highly regarded by his peers, players, and the community for his continued commitment to his players and the game. Josh has an extensive knowledge of the nuances of baseball and his presence will allow for a greater exploration of the on field intricacies of the game. Additionally, Josh has significant knowledge concerning the history and cultural of the game. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Josh is a lifelong Seattle Mariners fan.
